WAx

The WAx is a multi-channel, addressable, streaming audio system for home distribution and home theatre.
The system consists of a multi-channel transmitter that delivers CD quality audio (i.e. 44.1 KHz, 16 bits per channel) information to individually addressable receivers from analog, digital, and optical inputs. The design addressed specifically the synchronization and latency problems, which plague general purpose wireless systems, that creates the unnatural echoes and delays between video to audio and speaker to speaker.
The WAx has the following features:

• Multi-channel (up to 8 channels) streaming audio
• Support for CD/DVD quality (44.1 KHz) and HD quality (192 KHz) 16 and 24 bit per channel
• No fades or dropout in an urban household environment
• Less then 15mSec latency from video to Audio
• Less then 1mSec sync from speaker to speaker
• Lossless data compression (when needed)
• Data encryption (when needed)
• Configuration as add-on the existing home theater system or built in speakers

WAx employs BE LABS’ patented technology.
